Come,Lets have a cup of Tea

Dear Friend,

One of the beautiful sketches of Jesus drawn in words is John 21; Where you can see a Man who was prepared food & waited for them at shore in the early morning. Recently I saw a Movie named ‘Fracture’ where the lead character reciting a poem on Waiting on her Death Bed. It goes like this....

The Waiting Place…
…for people just waiting.
Waiting for a  train to go
or a bus to come, or a plane to go
or the mail to come, or the rain to go
or the phone to ring, or the snow to snow
or waiting around for a Yes or a No
or waiting for their hair to grow.
Everyone is just waiting.

I think we can replace the Word ‘Hope’ and ‘Love’ with ‘Waiting’. Waiting is more than a word; It is an attitude. An attitude of God. But it is a hell, If there is no one to wait for us. But you know the trough of suicides population is due to the crest in the ‘Waiting’ population.

A Man who 'waits' to share....

I don’t know what you call him, the one who comes in the middle of your night sleeps and kills us with his flatteries. I can call him; Arif. He used to come at 11pm and would talk about his Sales skill. How he is achieving the monthly target of his product ’Marlboro’ cigarettes .Don’t blame me, I used to stab at him with my bad jokes like why you need skills to sell Marlboro. This is the time of global financial crisis and tensions...Then He would change the topics to the Haunted city in UAE...He want to afraid me with the stories. Before from him, i heard it only in some fantasy stories...I replied with the stories of Kallangattu(?) Neeli. Tonight ,He would have sleepless night. But he will come on the next night to share the jokes, worries and stories of his life.

On next evening , I went to a Barber shop to dress my curly hair. Mr.Purushothaman took his scissors and i told him ,’Chetta........Slope’. Meanwhile a man of big belly read out the newspaper  from behind. You know, They knew it after 25 days...I enquired the matter to purushu...’A keralite Doctor died in a flat nearby this street...Flatmates knew it after 25 days..We couldn’t blame them, He was reserved drunkard.  He had his own business and life..Nobody is 'waiting' for him..

The radius of my relationship circle is shortened and is one of the Social tragedies occurred to me recently. Now i am afraid that the ‘circle’ will change to be a ‘point’ in the due course.I have a few basis for this fear...Really I don’t know any persons who is living in Hunger; I don’t know the shyness of a person who is not having a dress to change; I don’t know the pain of the fellow beings who is suffering from Cancer or Aids. I don’t know any people who is exposing to the nature through out the year; The Homeless.

I Don’t Care.

My Love to you

Waiting for the fish to bite
or waiting for wind to fly a kite
or waiting around for Friday night
or waiting, perhaps, for their Uncle Jake
or a pot to boil, or a Better Break
or a sting of pearls, or a pair of pants
or a wig with curls, or Another Chance.
Everyone is just waiting.
